The Midland Police Service would like to remind the public that restrictions on overnight parking is in effect from November 15th to April 1st, in the Town of Midland.

Vehicles parked on public streets and in municipal parking lots will be tagged (fine) and towed (at the owner's expense) between 12:01am and 7:00am, seven days a week, to ensure the streets are clear for maintenance and snow removal. Snow removal, de-icing and maintenance can happen even when it is NOT snowing outside.

Furthermore, your vehicle can be towed right out of your driveway if it blocks the sidewalk (you don't own that property) and impedes snow removal efforts.

It is easy to avoid the bylaw ticket, the towing and storage costs (Towne Towing is under contract and can be reached at 527-1313) and the inconvenience of waking up to your vehicle missing.
