Breach Of Conditions


On January 27, 2012 a 26 year old Midland man was released with conditions not to associate with his common law wife after being charged with assaulting her.

On January 30, 2012 Midland Police received an anonymous complaint that the suspect was at her apartment. Police attended the apartment and after a brief search found him hiding under a bed. He was arrested and held for a bail hearing.

Break & Enter Arrest


On Friday January 20th 2012, Midland Police arrested a man in connection with a break and enter that occurred on Bayview Drive in the town of Midland on January 16th 2012.

Utter Forged Document


On the 19th of January 2012, Midland Police were called to a local pharmacy in regards to a prescription that had been altered. Officers attended and upon further investigation it was found that the dosage on a prescription had been increased.

Domestic Assault


On the January 22nd, 2012, at approximately 10:20 am., the Midland Police commenced a
domestic assault investigation. The investigation revealed the victim was bitten on the arm by his
wife.

Subsequently, the female was arrested and charged for the crime. The female is being held
pending a Bail Hearing in Barrie on the 23rd January 2012.

Assault


On 15 January 2012 at 7:00pm Midland Police responded to a complaint of Assault on Borden St. in Midland. Investigation revealed that a teenage couple had recently broke up and made arrangements for the male to pick up belongings left behind at the female’s home. On arrival the male found his belongings strewn all over the driveway of the female’s home.

Theft & Fraud


On 14 January 2012 Midland Police received a complaint from a woman advising that her purse containing her identification and credit cards was stolen off the bar at a local licenced establishment in the early morning hours.

While cancelling her credit cards the complainant was told that the the card had been used to order pizza shortly after it was stolen.

Domestic Mischief


On the 15 January 2012 at 1:00 am, Midland Police responded to a call of an impaired driver on Rose Cr. in Midland. The caller told Police that her boyfriend had been drinking and was attempting to drive away after an argument. Police located the vehicle and found the driver to be showing signs of alcohol impairment. He was arrested and transported to the Midland Police Service.

Trespass By Night


On the 11th day of January 2012, the Midland Police Service received a call of a suspicious man in the area of Randles Cres, Midland. The complainant advised that the man had attended her front door and knocked. He peered into her front window and the victim observed the man at the back of her residence near the back door attempting to unscrew the back porch light.

Uttering Threats


On the 11 day of January 2012, the Midland police Service attended a Hartman Dr address to investigate an incident of domestic assault. The investigation revealed a woman had been making dinner when she asked boyfriend to purchase a package of cigarettes. The boyfriend became upset and threw a glass at the victim; He subsequently left the residence.
