What seemed like 'All' of Midland lined King Street this past Saturday for the annual Midland Civitan Christmas Parade. The parade kicked off from Little Lake Park Road and headed North up King Street to Bayshore at the waterfront. Once again, Midland Police Service had partnered with Central North Correctional Centre's team in their shop and vocational programs for our yearly themed float.

Midland residents beware of persons calling stating that they have won a lottery. The callers target vulnerable victims, telling them they have won a large sum of money. The caller will tell the victim that they need to wire money to them in order to claim the prize. The location of the wires can be out of country or in country.
